Grandmas Scotch shortbread Cookies

Grandma’s Scotch shortbread cookies

1 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 1/4 cup unsifted flour

pinch of salt

Icing

powdered sugar

milk

food coloring

sprinkles and candy decorations

Preheat oven 300 degrees, cook for 30-35 minutes. Cream ingredients together until smooth, roll dough on floured surface to 1/4 inch thick, cut using cookie cutters. When cool decorate with icing and toppings.
